Listed below are instructions for Post-Procedure Care. The doctor will review these instructions with you before your procedure. You may print a copy for your own reference.
Modified Eppley Canalith Repositioning Maneuver Post-Procedure Instructions
For the next three days, follow the instructions below to the best of your ability:
1. Remain in a relatively upright position with limited head movement
- No bending over to pick up objects from the floor. Instead, bend at the knees.
- No looking upwards.
- No rapid head movements.
- Turn entire body to look right and left.
2. Sleep with your head elevated
Sleep with 3-4 pillows under your head and back, or sleep in a recliner chair if possible.
3. No driving motor vehicles (as driving often requires rapid head movement left/right).
